Management matical Posted December 25, 2022 Management Share Posted December 25, 2022 Development Blog #2 Hello everyone and Merry Christmas! It's another month in the books for the Development Team, we've been hard at work since the last Development Blog wrapping up the final features and moving into testing. If you pay attention to our commit log in Discord, you'll quickly notice the general consensus of our updates currently are moving from additions to cleaning, and fixes. We are extremely excited to be in the spot we are, our revision is rapidly approaching the first stable version (1.0.0 SemVer). December Milestones Finish integration of Drover's Police Shield Finish unit/integration testing of the Booster System Entire refactor of the Gulag System to prepare for the Content Update #1 expansion. Finish integration of our tiered printer system Finish integration and perform integration tests on the Season Pass system. Creation of a MOTD/Main Menu with reward sections. Overhaul of our existing Scoreboard Add draw utilities for our full-scale UI update coming in a Content Update. Limit the powerfulness of Cop Gameplay, input from our Development Discussion. Integration testing of multiple [redacted] systems. Add the KRISS Vector, VSS Vintorez and MP7A1. Refactoring of the explosive system to introduce a new dynamic. Final integration of our Zerg Debuff Mechanic (Disarray) A large list of milestones indeed! But we can happily say we hit all of these. Thanks to the relentless effort from our Development Team, many nights were spent in a group call hammering down and bouncing ideas off of each other. So, where are we? As noted in the previous Development Blog, all features will need to be re-tested in case any of our milestones this month created a hiccup in systems that were made previously. And that is where we currently are, as of right now; 44 issues were found and swiftly resolved as we continue moving forward with more testing to ensure a smooth launch. We are going to run an economy pilot, and do final weapon balancing alongside our testing sessions to ensure everything is balanced and ready for release! Keep in mind, a concrete release date will be given at least 7 days prior to release, accompanied by a new trailer. We also want to give enough time for people to situate their organizations and prepare for the Season 1 Trailer which will reveal a boat full of features we've created in-house which will follow release. 2 1 1
